WOW,
Joe this is soooo slick... the line weights/smoothness are PERFECT..
awed man..... enjoying every line...

loving the color choices too...
I want this on a shirt ....

BizarroJoe responds:

I always love to see you're still around here! Now that I have my own 1nterw3bz, I'll check if you have some extra stash of art hidden outside the 'grounds...
Shirts? It'll depend on Shady anyway, 'cause he owns the picture now!
Really glad being commented by you! 'Till then!

love it...

I like all your stuff... the hatching and line work is superb.. the whole thing oozes with skillful execution.

haeiofjaldnefk responds:

thank you, love ur art

almost there...

Alvin, your work is detailed, your skin tones are amazing.. you have a real flair for textures.. the armor in this piece, as in all of your pieces, is intricate and beautiful.. two things stand out that seem out of place tho.. her foot.. the perspective.. it's too small, in relation to the guys in the background ( using them to gauge distance and size ) and the guy on the left.. his face, its looks so... unfinished.. maybe rushed.
it kind of takes away from the obvious skill displayed in the rest of the painting.

AlvinHew responds:

Thanks!

I'm fixing up the problems right now. Thanks for your review.

PURDY!

that's very beautiful.. I like the fact the all of your work is different, I mean you bounce around a lot, style wise.. I really dig the chair and the characters torso...

great imagination.

HUZZAH!

TENed... FIVEd.. FAVEd..
the line work dude!!!!!
"Impressive, MOST impressive"

All of your stuff is tho, you have perfected your style, you are a Master Craftsman.

have I seen this somewhere before or is it a new one?

UnderARock responds:

Thanks for the nice words dude, this ones not really new, but its pretty cool it got frontpaged now :)

Best Yet!

I really think this is one of the best paintings you have done, from color choices to the meticulous rendering ( even the brick wall has every brick! ) the foreground face is very strong, you nailed it, awesome color and light.

but I gotta say the " antagonist " guy ,with gun.. he should have been larger IMHO, and more dynamically posed.. he looks kind of narcoleptic to me .. "Going somewhere Hero?.. I ha-zzzzzzZZZZzzzzzz"

the painting is still skillfully crafted. thumbs.

Occluded responds:

I think it's my best so far too, but I still got a long way to go. Good point about the antagonist. I agree.

Thanks for the props man. Looking at your art, and you're quite talented. I'll have to check out your thread in the forums. I saw it but hadn't really looked inside.

very cool..

you really have that style down..exceptional rendering
great concept too..
I love the blond lizard god.

sick!

this page is stylerifik.. screams Will Eisner.. love it.

I like it!!

very cool concept, your line style is so sharp... I think it's perfect, but the "fades" you did on his forward hair/ bangs, take away from the over all look IMHO..

Blobguy responds:

I was a little worried about those as well. Soon enough, I might go in and remove them. Thanks.

Wicked Style!

your work is tops. love the shading technique, your skill shines through in your line work.. perfectly rendered.

I even dig the "shine shadow" background.. so slick.

dimitrikozma responds:
